STOPS ALONG THE WAY

LOOK BACK (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

Frequent readers of my blog might be aware that I’m no fan of winter. As the temperature drops, I make far less excursions to our local reserve. Happily I have a number of photos taken in the warmer months of the year yet to post.

And yet the stark contrasts in winter are manna to the soul. Some of my favourite photographs are of winter. I think I am attracted to the power and majesty … or perhaps the simplicity. Or maybe, it’s just because I am Canadian and would otherwise have to spend 6 months of the year indoors. 😉

Winter! I don’t like going out in winter either! Neither do the little critters! 🙂

And I am very happy you do! I appreciate the distraction. 😉
Love the raindrops on the peonies, such a nice composition in B&W.
