Queen Anne’s Lace has a long flowering season, from late spring until mid fall; beautiful anytime of year. They’re covered in snow now but will return next May in their spring green.
I set up my Fuji XT-1 to take five bracketed shots at different exposures. For processing I used Photoshop HDR Pro. It combined the shots for a nicely exposed image. I finished with a few of my usual adjustments in Photoshop.

    There’s something so inviting about photographing Queen Anne’s Lace, isn’t there? It always makes me nostalgic for my childhood, for one thing. And for another, those tiny, intricate lines make such wonderful patterns, in all stages of their opening and closing.

    I sometimes use photo stacking or photo-bracketing with the macro stuff. I use Helicon for the bracketing assimilation.

    I love this flower and your images, Belinda. Your HDR is is done with a deft touch- I think I am slightly partial to the black and white. I love flowers that are on their last days.
