Lady Bug

There are few things more pleasing than the colours of early summer. The ladybug was slowly making its way up the blade of grass. I watched it for a while before walking on. It’s a bit early yet for scenes like this but things are slowly coming into bloom; sunny days ahead.

  1. Glad you have made it to the season of green and color, Belinda! And getting some warmth. I like your image with the bits of grass seed and that touch of pink in the corner.

  2. And I enjoy the colours of early summer year round because lady bugs seem to prefer overwintering in my house! What a lovely image with the contrast, here. Having grown up in Great Lakes country I have the utmost appreciation and respect for that anticipation which you’ve conveyed here.

  12. Well then, you have ever more time to enjoy these little ladies, Belinda! Lovely photo. ❤️ Over two decades of lawn mowing and landscaping, I’ve seen the odd year when these ladies just swarm while doing the job! So weird yet so cool. 🙏🏻
