It’s always a pleasure to see one of these birds. We saw several goldfinches in the woods this year, this female landed close by and I managed a quick shot.

They’re such pretty birds. We only see them rarely. By the time I see one sitting on my garden fence and I run for the camera, it’s gone and I don’t see it again. Rare treasures.
