At the best of times, watching bees visiting flowers and gathering pollen is a good sign for nature and our part in it.In these troubled times, it’s reassuring to see that life continues, there is still order and more will return in time.
Very pretty! I agree on the comfort of nature, Belinda, and so interesting to see some data on the global effect of our slowdown. I wonder what changes we will see six months and a year from now because of this break for nature.
Thank you, Ellen! Ottawa is a small city surrounded by a Greenbelt. We’ve had sightings of coyote and wild turkeys within the city limits. Less people in cars, is already having an effect.
It’s really quite scary to think that our bees could be in trouble. We had hardly any around last year, and almost no fruit on the trees. This year it’s a bit better but still not the way it used to be. I find that I’m always happy when I see a bee these days.
