Yesterday was the first time I’ve picked up a camera in a long while. We spent the morning with friends in their wonderful garden. As we walked and talked I took a couple of photos. I was pretty pleased with the results, and was happy to see that I could still shoot a moving object. 😊

Very pleasing indeed, Belinda! Wonderful focus on the flower and I’m loving the shadow of the bee on the petal—very nice!

Very glad to hear you’re photographing again, its been so hard to do in all this turmoil; I’ve only been walking with my little TG-5, none of the other gear had been touched. Keep on keeping on!!! 🙂

Also, Belinda. I don’t see this post in my Reader. I usually go to posts from my email but thought I’d look for this one in the Reader. Can’t find it. And yet, I see your Hawkweed post there.

I’m putting up a post tomorrow. I’d appreciate knowing if the problems persist. If so, I’ll contact WordPress. Thanks.

I wanted to click Like but I’m having trouble loading the post. This has been happening for several days now, but not on all blogs. I think WordPress has something going on.

Thanks for letting me know, Anneli. Someone else mentioned this the other day,. I have my “like button” activated, so I don’t know what’s going on.

I think it’s WordPress making changes and having a few hiccups, but it does get frustrating.

Good title, Belinda–I had no idea what to expect, and was delightfully surprised. Was the dawn breaking? Was it early morn? Whatever, it looks like he/she would be quite challenged to pack any more into those bags.

The bee was flying towards a nearby hedge which made for the dark background. And yes it’s bags were stuffed 😊. Pleased you like it.

It’s like riding a bicycle – it all came back – beautifully in this case. It is good to know you have been able to get out. We are literally able to pack our bags within the next two weeks to overnight at a nearby national park – the anticipation thereof is growing.
