I had few opportunities to photograph Great Egrets this summer but I did get a few chances. I hope to have more next year.

Yes, they are year round. Some will move a little south for a month or so, but they are always around.

Wonderful photo, Belinda, with the egret, the water’s stillness, the lily pads, and the reflection. I like seeing the egret about to take another step.
