I liked the frog’s pose but the background was too messy. I tried cleaning it up, without much success. In changing the crop I managed to remove most of the pond debris and was pleased with the outcome. It goes to show that in most things it pays to take a second look.

And with eyes like that, the frog is having a really good second look too. Great picture.

It looks great to me! They live in messy areas don’t they. I was looking at the differences between frogs and toads not too long ago for the Grandsons and I think this one is a toad? Anyone know for sure? Am I still lost?…It’s so easy to do with these guys!!

Thanks, Deborah. Given it was on the water I assumed it was a frog. Interesting fact from Wildlife Preservation Canada: “all toads are frogs but not all frogs are toads” 😊

Looks great, Belinda. So true how revisiting an image can make a big difference. I often walk away and come back for a fresh look. 🙂
