We have these around us, but they are hard to spot. Never succeeded in getting a picture, either!

They pass through here in spring and again in the fall. Always a welcome sight.

It is the faces of dark birds that are so difficult to get a good image of. I like the flashes of red on this bird.

If you can capture a hint of light in the eye it often makes the shot, that and those red shoulder badges😊
