A lot of older homes here are built of brick and have wonderful wood trim. In need of a little paint and yard work, this house still has considerable charm.
It has what a realtor surely would say is potential. So many older houses have porches and so few do today. Someone needs to put that broom and some other yard tools to work.

I think so too. There’s a nearby home that has a wraparound veranda. It’s a beauty.

In some older homes the wood work is far more extensive. I find it a very appealing feature.

We have similar decorations here attached to 19th century homes which are generally made of pressed steel.
