It’s cold and grey outside (we had our first dusting of snow) but it definitely was sunny when I took this at the beginning of October. Quite a difference a month makes.

A last herald of the colourful season. It’s getting wintry here in the UK too, although with heavy rain and high winds rather than snow (so far).

It’s getting chilly all right. I still have a couple of brave flowers hanging on, but they’re in for a shock in the next days. So good to have photos to look back on and give us hope for the next warm season.

It’s crazy from one day to the next, isn’t it? Someone mentioned a second blooming of their rhodo plant and I realized that one of mine did that too this year. Who knows why?
