    I have always though red-winged blackbirds to be rather skittish so kudos in capturing this close-up!

    They have certainly arrived here in our area as well, and our nesting all over the wetlands now! Love to see a new nest or two pop up every week!

    I hope you start seeing them soon! I’ve had a few at my suet feeder the last week. Spring is here although it’s brought snow with it. 😂

    I love watching the blackbirds! (Actually, I like watching most birds.) Great photo and yes, a sure sign of spring.
