Two weeks ago I saw some goslings in this location. If these are the same geese, I imagine they’re now about a month old. They mature quickly and reach adult size in about 10 weeks.

It is amazing how fast these birds grow, but I suppose they don’t have much time before they have to make a long flight south. Time to fatten up!

Two Egyptian Geese flew past my window early this morning. Your photograph reminds e of how quickly their goslings become independent. They are a delight to see while still so fluffy.
