I don’t know how they remember. I suppose the ones they forget eventually try to turn into trees, and that’s not a bad thing either.

I think they must store a lot of food in their burrows and it’s nice to think some of their stash might develop into trees 😊

I’ve never seen a chipmunk here, but we have ground squirrels! They are so cute.
