Walking through a public garden I spotted this flowering bush. Among all the plants, it attracted my attention. Its flowers reminded me of candle flames.
Definitely better with both colours. The blue leaning towards purple makes it closer to being a complimentary colour. I think it’s blue vs. orange, and purple vs. yellow.

A lovely duo, the yellow and purple complement each other well. I like and grow this Lysimachia, but it is very easy to control. A great cutflower!

It shared the flowerbed well. I’ve just learned that the plant was introduced to North America and needs to be controlled as it tends to spread.
