STOPS ALONG THE WAY

NOT ALL STING

The wasp found some goldenrod in bloom, most has faded by now. Despite their nasty sting, they are important pollinators and help keep the insect population down.  Still though, I’m glad the goldenrod had its full attention.😏.

You are right there, Belinda. Wide berth given! I move among bees in my garden without worry, but wasps and hornets I try to avoid. 😉

A lovely photo, Belinda, I thought it was a Mud Dauber for a moment.

Yes, they can give the goldenrods all their attention! I don’t like them either, but agreed, they are a necessary part of the ecosystem. Great capture, Belinda. 😊
