    Yes, we have lots of widgeons (or wigeons), but not very many wood ducks. I think I’ve only seen glimpses of one or two wood ducks ever, but thousands of widgeons.

    Oh he’s a beauty! I love their eyes. They always looks so cute to me. I was out birding yesterday doing my first Big Day and saw two female American Wigeons, no males. I hope your beauty finds his way here to keep the two females I saw company this winter. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    The ducks are missingโ€ฆI mean there are none ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ. Storms or other man made nonsense is takings its toll in the Lowcountry. We are a major resting or migration site with plenty of space for them. ๐Ÿ˜ก
