The flowers no longer have the vibrant colours of early summer. I thought it would be nice to return to earlier in the season.

Memories are a good thing, but as the saying goes I believe, “Time waits for no man (woman).”
And although I am a cool weather kind of person, Belinda, I enjoy summer but look forward to those fall colors, hopefully, and have even started embracing the winter for different bird photo possibilities. The eagles fly a bit more in accessible areas to photograph them in winter.
