Young birds look so soft and vulnerable. Maybe that’s why they are so endearing. I hope they all made it and are healthy grown up birds now. Sweet photo.

We see and hear them in the Spring but Summers there aren’t very many about until late Summer like now I’ve been seeing more and more flying in traditional V formation heading for the ponds.

There have already been a flock or two pass overhead. Looking at the nighttime temperatures this week, we might have an early frost this year… oh, no! 😱

We’ve seen a few flocks too. It’s cooled off here as well but I hope summer isn’t quite done yet 😏
