Groundhogs hibernate here during the winter months, in specialized burrows below the frost line. This individual was fattening up for a long “sleep”.

Not sure, a young starling… My focus was on the groundhog.

Okay. I thought it was a smaller groundhog until I looked closer but I can’t tell what it is.
