We’re lucky to see Blue Jays in winter. They’re clever birds and store large quantities of food in hidden caches as well as show up at bird feeders during the colder months.

Beautiful shot, Belinda. We consider ourselves lucky to have them year-round.

Clever birds, they are beautiful to see esp. on sunny, snow-bright day.

we have jays here in Ireland, they are marked differently and they are a shy bird which makes photographing them fun. They moved fast through the tree tops, clean shots can be hard to get.
Great shot Belinda.

This is another bird we don’t see here. We have Steller’s jays but no (eastern) bluejays.

That’s a great capture, Belinda. Very representative of the season! Lots of people don’t like blue jays, but I think they’re beautiful.

Thanks very much, Lynette. They can be aggressive but are very attractive too.
