Gorgeous photo, Belinda, though your bug looks like a species of hoverfly. It’s not one I’m familiar with here in the UK so specific to your part of the world I guess. 🙂

When photographing flowers, there is a sense of satisfaction to have the added bonus of a cute insect. I love this bug.
