‘BYE BUTTERFLY

Swallowtail I saw the last swallowtails of the year in August although other butterflies were still around until early October. A very good year for them all. The swallowtail made picture taking very easy as it lingered on the Joe Pye weed, a plant they love.

What a gorgeous photo, Belinda. I like the background green contrasting with the pink JPW, and the sunlight coming through the butterfly’s wings. Superb!

Fantastic photo of the swallowtail, Belinda, and a beautiful reminder during the months when they are elsewhere.

Absolutely beautiful shot of a beautiful creature, very well captured. I remember seeing these in southern France long ago.
