STOPS ALONG THE WAY

LAWN ART (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

I had to admire how a gardener turned an old tree stump into a thing of beauty.
I almost passed by the little statue in the second photo as it was quite hidden by all the vegetation. Its surroundings made it rather appealing.

Nice looking stump, and its own garden!

Nice takes, Belinda. I love it when gardeners create stump gardens, embracing the old, along with the new.

These are great. I love that kind of “gardening.”

How wonderful (although it was probably a practical decision too) to leave the stump in place, where it will provide nutrients and shelter for a long time still 🙂
