This plant was growing in a flower bed but reminded me of a water lily. If anyone can identify the plant please let me know.

Hi Linda, I think it is lingularia. A big beautiful late summer bloomer.

Wow! I’m impressed by Lynette’s quick result. Pretty flower and nicely photographed, Belinda. I like the bright flowers contrasting with the deep shade between the leaves.
