I saw these attractive late bloomers on a walk the other day. They refused to blend in to the tall grass around them.

Nice image, Belinda. I like the way they are ‘hiding’ in the grass. I’ve just learned a great new common name! 🙂 Heleniums are great late summer flowers when most things are winding down. I grow both yellow and orange-red, nice with asters.
