This litle dog was sitting in the shade watching a group of people doing yoga in the park. It was a hot day, I think the dog had the right idea 😊

Out of the Gate
The dog was tearing down the path running towards us. Then we saw its owner turn the corner holding the dog’s leash. Given the chance, it was enjoying the run.
That Look
I was at a fair distance from the dachshund but I still didn’t go unnoticed 😏
AT THE PARK
It will be fun to get back to this park when the weather warms up. I think the dogs there have a better time than most people 😏
Dog Days
Along the river parkway there’s a landing for canoes, kayaks (and dogs) to enter the water easily. On our walks I always hope to come across a scene like this.

The dog’s owner was working in his yard, his dog resting on a towel facing the sidewalk. I couldn’t resist taking a quick shot.

WINDOW ON THE WORLD
I often spot a cat in the window as I walk by a house. In this case, a dog was watching as its owners drove away in the car. He took a moment to look in my direction too.
TAKING IN THE SIGHTS – 2
I took several photos of this Great Dane and featured another one in January. I think the dog was becoming a bit inpatient as it shifted position and was staring directly into the store window, willing its owner to return.
BEST FRIEND
This dachshund looked patient and a bit wistful as it waited for its owner to return.
ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU
I saw this Labrador Retriever one day on a walk. He wasn’t bothered by me or my camera, never so much as barked as I took a few shots. Too busy watching his owner at the foot of the driveway.
DON’T FENCE ME IN
I saw this bull dog in a small fenced in lawn. He turned away as I approached but I did get his handsome profile.
