This lake has a lot of lily pads which these frogs call home. They blend in so well that often only a splash or movement alerts you to their whereabouts. The photo below gives you a good idea of their environment and how well they blend in.

Great captures Belinda and since I’m looking up animal symbolism today … Frog spirit brings us into a deeper connection with our feelings, perspectives and our ability to purge negativity from our lives be that “dis-ease” spiritual, mental or physical.

These two photos are a summer gift, Belinda, thanks so much. I love the close-up photo for its colors and detail, wow, those webbed feet. And then it was great that you showed the environment and the lily pads in the second photo. Truly lovely.

Frogs make great subjects – that lily pad in shot #1 is surprisingly perfect, almost looks plastic! I’m so used to seeing them nibbled and spotted. 🙂
