STOPS ALONG THE WAY

MEADOWS’ EDGES (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

This hover fly flew into the frame just as I was composing my photograph, a nice addition to the shot. On these brilliant summer days I enjoy walking along the meadows’ edges with the the riot of colour and buzzing of insects laid out for the taking.

Nature’s edges often provide a bounty! Beautiful Queen Ann’s Lace image. I love how the blossoms curl up as they mature.

Beautiful reflections of lazy, hazy summer days, Belinda! 🙂 I can’t believe how fast the end seemingly is approaching us here!

So fresh and summery! That fly really wanted to be a star. Now he is!

So striking, Belinda. I especially like the hoverfly, and the opalescence in its wings.
