STOPS ALONG THE WAY

AMERICAN WIGEON

It was a pleasure to see a few wigeons well into November one year. It had been quite a mild fall which must have encouraged them to stay a while longer. This male obligingly swam into the colourful reflection just as I was walking by.

Wonderful watercolours Belinda! I usually end up liking water reflections/textures more than the bird. btw – here’s a recent shot of mine with American Wigeons … https://michaelhoffmannphotography.com/2018/02/07/six-ducks-a-floating/

So beautiful, Belinda! It is like an abstract painting with those zig-zags of light and colour reflected in the water.

Wonderful picture! Everything in it, except the immaculate duck, is surreal. A 🙂
