LATE SUMMER FLOWERS (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

Although many flowers are beginning to fade at this point in the summer, they still hold a lot of appeal. Queen Anne’s Lace reveals an intricate weave. The yellow salsify contrasts with the one beside it that’s gone to seed, Both beautiful in their own way.

QAL is beautiful in all stages – you’ve captured its intricate detail so well here. Salsify seed heads are also lovely structures. Nature amazes!

I always think of flowers, when in flower they are dressed for glamour and compete for attention. Back in their everyday wear they show the true beauty of their form.
    Enjoy your weekend.
