Dragonfly on Stalk It’s a summer with more bugs and insects than birds. Happily, dragonflies are attractive subjects that I like to take. This one looks like he’s King of the Meadow.

Awesome capture, Belinda! I have been trying the challenge of dragonflies recently, and oh my, they aren’t easy! I think they like to tease. 😉

I used to be terrified of these things and have now learned to look at them in a different way, like some fascinating alien creature with amazing features. Great photo. He looks like he just landed or is about to lift off; a giant aircraft of the insect world.

Nice Shot and observations. We also notice this time of year is ruled by dragonflies and the birds are lying low.

I love Damselflies! As a child they landed on me lots when on the water in my favorite rowboat. Lovely photo! ❤️
