I haven’t seen too many Baltimore Orioles so it was a pleasure to photograph this bird, feeding on the nectar of these flowers. They are among the many migrants to our area each spring.

Wonderful captures, Belinda! I have yet to capture this bird and add it to my lifer list, which I find funny because I live near Baltimore, Maryland. 😉
What a lucky find! I once saw a hooded oriole in our area and it was really a rare thing to see here. I remember the thrill of seeing it and listening to its song, so different from our usual birds. But this Baltimore oriole must have been a wonderful thing to see and hear and get close enough to for a photo. Very nice, Belinda!

Just spotted one this morning in northeast Massachusetts. Left an orange half out on my deck. First I have seen one around here.
