STOPS ALONG THE WAY

  1. Ladybugs are little jewels in the insect world. I’m saddened, however, to see that the Asian invasives are crowding out the native ones–at least in northern Minnesota. When we open up the cabin in the spring I find, quite literally, thousands of their corpses in the new garage, having apparently sought relative shelter from the still-hostile outside elements.

  4. Beautiful photos, Belinda! Ladybirds/bugs can be quite a challenge for they always want to walk off and hide under a leaf when I approach them πŸ™‚
