I was surprised at the fall-like colours of these leaves, colours I associate with September not April (when I took this). A plant I’ve never seen before.
I tried to find this bush but no luck. The leaves could possibly be from last autumn but if that’s the case, they’ve done well! Maybe it starts with red leaves. It could be a Cotinus ‘Grace’ (smokebush) as they have red spring leaves. Here’s website: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cotinus_coggygria

The colors remind me of Quince but the pedals are different. The colors are fabulous.

Looks like a spirea, pretty and surprising, not the typical chartreuse of spring!
