STOPS ALONG THE WAY

FALL FASHION (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

In the first photo, I wanted to fill the frame with colour, you can barely see the sky for the leaves. I concentrated on a single leaf in the second shot and didn’t notice the crab spider in the lower right of the image until I imported it.

  2. Very pretty. You chose a nice patch for the first and leaf to highlight for the second. A maple leaf from a Canadian photographer … how about that!

  3. Glad you pointed out the little critter. I spotted one in a swamp this morning just as he caught a moth. Images still in the camera it was a bade angle…maybe something came out. Now I know it was a Crab Spider. Thanks.

  4. The Crab Spider is a bonus on that cool looking leaf, Belinda. It’s like it resisted turning color!

  8. That is part of the fun of photography – finding things your eye did not see at the time. These leaves are a beautiful gradation of colours.
