STOPS ALONG THE WAY

TIME PASSAGES

This building is a landmark on a gritty downtown street corner, sandwiched between an alley and apartment building. It’s been a Bible depot, reading room and gathering place.  When trying to find out more about it, I learned that it had closed permanently. Perhaps another victim of the times.

I love the Bible House window, looks like old-time glass. Sad to see it closed permanently. We need places like these for those that feel the need for support. 🙏

Here’s hoping that someone will repurpose that building…and give it purpose once more.

You captured the neglect and grittiness of this old building well, Belinda. So much of the old is being lost, one can’t help wonder if it is for better or worse, with possible regrets down the line.

It is indeed a sad indictment of the times.

This is both amazing and sad, Belinda. You are likely correct in your assessment. 😞🙏🏻 The photo has a British flavor to it.
