Last weekend was beautiful and warm and I had my first sighting of a Red-winged Blackbird. The bird seemed to enjoy the weather too and burst into song 😊

We had a large flock of Grackles pass through with many of these part of the flock beautiful birds

They are awful they fly in with a good 50-100 and raid the neighborhood feeders late fall and early spring when passing through. It causes quite a lot of upset

Normally they sing while perched up high.

I usually see them high in the trees but this one was likely foraging.
