I saw this single white flower growing close to the ground in a neighbour’s yard. It was surrounded by other perennials. I don’t remember seeing this flower before but thought it very attractive.

At first I thought the petals were too “slender” to be an anemone, but on checking it out, I think Lynette is right. I found one called White Splendour that looks like this one. Very pretty and delicate.

A species of Anemone I think, it’s very similar to our Wood Anemone but with the double bloom, the leaves look the same.
