Well not exactly but the larva of a ladybug does bear a slight resemblance to a tiny alligator and they are voracious eaters.

Hmmm a gator. It does have the look of scales on the back (Schutts I think they’re called). Certainly looks ferocious too. Nice capture 😁. Macro work is beyond me 🥹.
