    It was really cool to see them just sitting out there on the ocean as well as on the beach.

    I love the title of your post! We were just walking on the beach in southeast Florida on a cool afternoon, and almost tripped over a pair of Scoters! There were many more groups of them out on the water. Such lovely ducks, but we had never seen them before in our area!

    Some ducks seem friendlier than others. Ducks seem more cooperative about posing, ha! I fed some ducks this morning along a river. They were happy to see me. Their tag along American Coot that they just barely tolerate was with them. Nice shots!

    They really are great birds! Very beautiful day out on the water! I also find it very hard to tire from ducks.

    Their lines and patterns are really beautiful. In school we are taught only that baby ducks are yellow and adult ducks are white. It was all about domestic ducks. But it took me years to become aware that wild ducks have beautiful variety in colours and patterns and design.
