It looked like someone had called a meeting but few showed up 😏 . I think fungi and mushrooms make interesting subjects but they were pretty scarce last year. I’ll keep my eye peeled as things warm up around here.
That’s one of the ink caps I think. They start off like tall white oblongs and gradually self-dissolve into a black goo (each to their own hobby I suppose) – it makes them look like they’re rolling up their caps. If you were in the UK, I’d call that a shaggy inkcap Coprinus comatus but I don’t know which species you have in your area.

The tallest one is delicately beautiful. I haven’t come across much fungi in our garden over the past year either.
