    What a great idea to paint the electrical boxes, at least in this case where it is a pleasing picture.

    I like the way that one’s painted too. It’s like an invitation to bees. It almost look like a hive box.

    I bought a similar bumblebee hotel ready-made, and it’s been standing in my garden for years. The insects don’t seem to like it here. Two simple homemade ones, which I dug into the ground and provided a hole for the bumblebees, are used by the insects every year.
