I liked the way the flowers seemed to be drinking in the sun. It’s been very hot, so I’m not sure if some flowers are fading due to the heat or it’s just their time.

The heat definitely speeds up the time flowers stay in bloom. Annuals are all about setting seed!

Those are lovely. I can almost feel the sun on my face. I wish we had some sun. It’s monsoon season here. We’ve had cloudy stormy skies with thunder and lightening for a few days now with a little bit of rain yesterday afternoon. I won’t complain about that. Rain is most always welcome. 😊

I agree with Anneli. I think the heat can take a real toll if there’s not enough cooling via rain or cloud to offset it. That’s a beautiful photo though, Belinda.😊 The flowers do seem to be stretching toward the sun.

I think it’s a struggle for many flowers in this heat. These are really pretty ones. I like the darker reddish edges on the closest one.
