The light in this little cove isn’t ideal but that’s where the Green Heron chose to perch. Ducks like this spot too so I always pass by when I’m at this reserve.

Great perch for the birds, just high enough off the water, I’m sure it gets lots of use. Lovely image of the Green Heron, just waiting for a snack to appear.
