I always found the shorter days and longer nights to be depressing, but then realized that it’s only a short while before the days begin to lengthen once again … and Spring doesn’t seem that far away.

Really? Communities within the province? Great idea! Arizona and maybe Hawaii also don’t switch. DST has never made sense in my time…
