I don’t know what is so beautiful about the starkness of ice encrusted trees, but I love the look-and your picture! (I wish it weren’t so dangerous, though!)
Oh yes !! I’m looking at my pair of their low Mocs I keep on my back porch right now. At times the southern back porch turns into the northern mud room 😆
Mother Nature needs a-talkin’ to! After several days of uncommonly warm temps, tonight we might get snow flurries. BTW, ducks are in rafts of thousands on the Chesapeake Bay near me. Migration is underway and heading to you, Belinda!
We are plummeting too, for a week; 70’s 2-days ago, to snow flurries yesterday. Just crazy. The ducks will lay down for a week hopefully at a good feeding spot, take a break, then get back to heading home!
Oh yes, definitely, Belinda. I saw that you have quite a storm to get through. Sleet and freezing rain are awful. I hope you don’t have to go outside at all. Beautiful photo of those icicles, though.

Yes, a good day to be inside, and a lovely moment to be inside pondering icy treetops. Stay warm, Belinda!

They’ve done a good job of salting and sanding, it’s not too bad here.

Ellen is up in Maine now. Weather says 7 inches of snow today. 🤣. I’ll be 80 degrees and sunny. 😎

We’re getting bit of sun which is catching the ice on the trees.

Typical for March here 😏. I sure hope the ducks take the long route as cold weather is forecast until mid week, ugh!

I hope they’re getting by, no matter where they are (and I hope it’s somewhere warmer and more hospitable).

I’d take snow over freezing rain anytime. The only upside is the way it looks on the tree branches. Thanks, Lynette.
