I was using a long lens and I was very close to the mallard so this image gives the impression that the path was hers 😏

At a distance when we get glimpses of hen mallards, we don’t have time to appreciate their lines, and the patterns of their feathers. They really have a subtle beauty of their own and you’ve helped to bring that to our attention. Nice photo, Belinda.

That’s such a lovely capture of the female mallard, Belinda. They are such plain birds but I find their gentle personalities always come across.
