STOPS ALONG THE WAY

SOLO GOOSE (TWO PHOTOGRAPHS)

Shortly after this photo was taken late last March, the snow melted and spring returned. Canada Geese migrate south in winter and this goose had returned a little too early to find much to eat. Kind folk always bridge the gap and soon he was joined by returning mates.

I guess not every early bird catches a worm! 😉 Nice set, Belinda.

I love his/her perplexed look! Nice shot, Belinda! It works well in B&W too, I’ll have to try that with a goose shot. 🙂

    Beautiful photo.
We have a good resident population where we live in England. I actually had to look it up as I was not aware that European Canada geese, with the exception of those in Scandinavia, don’t migrate.

We have so many of them that I sometimes forget what beautiful markings these birds have. Your photo is really lovely. The goose looks like it belongs on a Christmas card.
