With a frost advisory on the way tonight I thought it was time for another look at some late summer flowers. These were taken mid-September; the first in a field, the second in a neighbourhood garden.

And how pretty they are! I will miss this in the next weeks when things get cold and dreary. You may have to post some “memories of summer” when we get into the long haul of winter.
We’ll miss these beauties soon. 🙂 I drove Marla, my wife, to her osteopedic surgeon up north, for a follow-up, and we saw tons of Goldenrod Wildflowers on the way.

Very nice, Belinda! I can feel fall coming with the droop of that yellow flower.

Thank you Indira. I thought they were daisy-like flowers but hadn’t been sure.

How I will miss these beauties! It is always sad to say goodbye to the growing season. At least there is a photo archive to remind us. 🙂
